Prokofjev / J. Ginsbach /: Peter and the wolf

A unique performance was seen by nursery and primary school pupils on 27 October 2005. It was made by the ballet and piano department of the Bakfart Bálint Music School.

Based on the idea of Rudai Éva and Bóna Ilona piano-teachers, Csáky Mária dancing master put new life into Prokofjev’s Peter and the wolf. The symphony tale was written for a chamber orchestra, but Julio Ginsbach made the piano version. It was performed by four students from Ságvári Primary School: Herczeg Attila, Juhász Judit, Fülöp Flóra and Lantos Ildikó.
On the stage we admired the brave Peter, who opposes the wolf, Peter’s helper, the small bird, and the foolish duck which does not recognise the danger. Children were amazed by the waves of the lake which were created by the ballet dancers.
The performance gave meaty recreation both for children and adults.
