January2005.: - our project-products were sent to our partner schools (it contained the works made by our students, tests, and the CD made by Ferenc Wilmek)
-Pupils in class 3.b made angelfish using origami technique. Their teacher was Némethné Pál Rita.
-Pupils in class 2 made paper mosaic (Fish)-their teacher: Millei Zoltánné.
-Shafferné Szakáll Erika made a tortoise and a seal from crops with young children in their free time.
-“Reciting poetry” competition was organised by Pap Lászlóné and Jungerné Pőcze Gabriella. The topic was “Water in our Poetry”
- School Maths competition, which contained playful problems connected to water. The best students got rewards. Organisers: Scherlein Márta, Mészárosné Fehérvári Mónika.

-An exhibition was made about Finland by class 4.c, Lithuania by class 3.b, Greece by class 4.b and Hungary by 4.a and 3.a. Helping teachers:Némethné Páll Rita, Káldy Lajosné, Doroginé Gut Ibolya, Perléné Lovasi Katalin, Jungerné Põcze Gabriella, Abos Ibolya, Csiki Gabriella, Németh Józsefné.

- The renewal application for the year 2005/2006 was finished.
- The “Drop-committee” had a meeting: lower classes got their points for their “water” activities. Their points were put on the notice-board “The world under the water”. The committee arranged that the next meeting would be after Easter holiday.
- Children of day-care centre went to see the cartoon “Shark-tale”, then they made illustration to the film. Teacher:Káldy Lajosné.
- Our school sent an application to CANON. One part of the application was about the project. Participants:Mészárosné Fehérvári Mónika, Szemánné Dubovinszki Andrea, Junger László, Forgács József.

February2005. – “Water carnival”. Decoration was made by Nagygyörgy Lászlóné, Perléné Lovasi Katalin, Szabóné Mezei Andrea. The carnival was opened by class 3.a, who wore jellyfish fancy dress. Teacher:Mészárosné Fehérvári Mónika. Other pupils dressed up as water living beings. Children made masks using sea patterns. Teacher:Szabóné Mezei Andrea
- Ski camp in Slovakia. Upper class students shot a video film about creating artificial snow. Leader of the camp: Hartmann József.
- Two teachers from Lithuania visited our school. Different programs were organised for them: factory visiting, lesson observation, water measuring. This event was appeared on local television, in the “Kronikas” local paper and in the „24 Óra” county paper.
-A lighthouse was made by class 8.b. Teacher: Szénási Mihályné.

- Our school won a projector and a digital camera on the CANON application.
March2005: -Junger László finished his project which demonstrated the history of the Hungarian shipping. It is used on the craft and computer science lessons.
- Nagygyörgy Lászlóné, Nagy Andrásné, Szemánné Dubovinszki Andrea és Wilmek Ferenc travelled to Finland. They gave a presentation to the teachers and made classroom activities about Hungarian Easter, natural resources of Hungary and Oroszlány, and work of the environment study group.
- “Easter folk custom: sprinkle”- drawing competition made by Nagygyörgy Lászlóné és Perléné Lovasi Katalin

- Children from day-care centre observed the swans on the lake, then folded paper swans. Teacher: Gurszky Gézáné.

-“How do living being utilize water?” diary was made by class 4. Teacher:Csiki Gabriella

April2005- Class 3.a went for a school trip to the Duna Museum. They observed how water formed the surface, how important the water power was. Teachers: Mészárosné Fehérvári Mónika, Németh Józsefné

-Szabó Anna, a student in class 6.b won a first prize on a county drawing competition connected to environmental protection.

May2005:- Fishing competition on the town lake. Our students helped to clean the lake. Teachers:Wilmek Ferenc, Forgács József

-Meeting of “Drop-committee”.

June2005. –Two teachers from Finland visited our school. They took part in similar programs as the Lithuanian colleagues. We took them with us for our teaching staff trip too. We went to the Lake Balaton.
- On Children’s Day Bordi András, the reporter of the Hungarian radio, welcomed our pupils with songs and games.
-“Summer night with poems, songs and music”- we presented some works of art from the partner countries.
- We got drawings made by Finnish children, on which there were English messages, so we organised a translation competition.

Making the school year project programme on the basis of the idea of Jungerné Pocze Gabriella

October 2005
Drawing and environment competition was organised by Duna-Ipoly National Park and PRO-Vértes Public Foundation.
Zsédely Viktor became the winner in drawing category.
The environment competition contained an obstacle-race around a small lake. There were teams of five. The competition started with the sound of a hunting-horn. There were stations where pupils had to complete different tasks: recognition of animals, birds, leaves, rocks and crops from the Vértes-mountains.
During the day horse-shows and folklore programmes amused the public. You could taste local food made on the spot. Our team (Molnár Dániel, Petrik Renátó, Geszler Attila, Nagy Frigyes and Németh Dávid) placed second.

67 students took part in the competition. The topic of the dictation connected to water:

6. class: Where water is treasure
7. class: Pharmacy of the people in the moor
8. class: Drinking water

Dance of the sea- Water in literature
There was a tea-party in the library for sixth and seventh-form students.
Students read and listened to poems connected to water. Then they talked about these poems, discussed the poetic means. After the discussion children got some tasks: they had to collect poems, explain idioms. While they were working they were drinking tea and eating some cakes. Organisers: Sárköziné Csonka Zita, Mezei Judit

-Under the direction of Nagygyörgy Lászlóné, Perléné Lovasi Katalin and Szalainé Láng Mariann our students made Christmas postcards. The best cards can be seen in our gallery.
-Class 4.a made a wall picture about their favourite tale, “The big fisherman” written by Csukás István. They entered for the competition “Tale hero”, about which you can read on the webpage www.mesehos.hu
-Pupils in the lower classes made winter decorations. In the gallery you can see them and their works. December

“Winter charm of Vérteskozma”

A beautiful photo exhibition was opened by our headmaster Hartmann Jozsef on 7 December. The photos were made by Kiss Barnáné, who is a retired teacher. She worked for a long time in our school. The exhibition can be seen in the school until the end of January.
After the opening ceremony we organised a tea-party in the library, where Mrs Kiss talked about her photos, her life, how she became an amateur photo artist. Then the children could ask about Vérteskozma and its beauties in the winter.
In the visitors’ book you can read a lot of words of praise. Our children think that the exhibition was a present for everybody who likes nature and winter.
